The focus of the session will be Extreme’s new Cloud platform—ExtremeCloud IQ— which will enable partners and customers to be able to manage, automate and gain intelligence from different network technologies and products, including ExtremeSwitching, ExtremeMobility and ExtremeRouting. This platform will be used to provide device management across the portfolio, intelligence from Machine Learning, and assurance from AI. Through the acquisition of Aerohive Networks, Extreme Networks has obtained and is now innovating with a 3rd-generation microservices-based Cloud platform. This means that ExtremeCloud IQ incorporates the foundational aspects of cloud networking— flexibility and cost savings provided by the first generation, scalability, resiliency and elasticity of the second— with 3rd-gen analytics capabilities, machine learning and artificial intelligence. This session highlights the first steps in our plan of integrating this platform into our portfolio and help customers simplify operations and accelerate digital transformation with self-driving infrastructure fuelled by Machine Learning and AI.
